FAQ
For the past 10 years we have been laser etching designs into our authentic leather patches. This process is different and requires a metal die plate that is heated to make a debossed image into the leather.
The Foil and Branded processes require different temperatures to complete the deboss process, making the marks permanent.
No, we will provide a complementary mock-up of your design in Gold Foil and/or Branded to help make a decision for an order. Although the mock-up is digital, it will give you the best idea of what the final product may look like.
Yes, each design requires a one-time custom die created specifically for that logo. It’s a one time investment of $150 that we will store for any future Foil or Branded orders.
The Foil will last with proper care - it isn't invincible but it is durable. It is not UV resistant, so there could be some flaking or evidence of wear after many hours in the sun.
The Branded patches will hold the burned image for a long time, as well. As the patch ages, so will the brand. It may eventually turn close to the same color but the deboss should remain - potentially longer than a laser etch.
Yes, once your die is created, reorders are fast and consistent. We keep your die filed away in a secure place.

Not at this time with the understanding of the one time die investment of $150. We use a pricing tier so the more pieces you order the lower the price per piece.
Currently our Gold Foil is an additional cost to our standard price list: pricing is an additional +$2.50/hat and the Branded patch is an additional +$1/hat. Keep in mind that there is a one-time die creation investment of $150/per design.
Absolutely. You may mix leather colors within your order as long as the same design and die are used.
No, you can mix hat styles and colors within your order (unless purchasing a specified product). This is a huge perk of working with us.
Sure. Keep in mind that there is a one-time die creation investment of $150/per design and the way our tiered pricing structure works.
Once an order is finalized and the invoice is paid, the creation of a die may add 3-5 business days to the production of your order. We strive to maintain a similar turnaround time to our etched leather patch production timeline.
